Pricing

Pay for the conversations Celeste resolves. Nothing else.

Monthly plans come with a batch of resolutions included, then one flat rate per resolution that drops as you grow. You're never charged when Celeste hands off, drafts something that never sends, or sits quiet. There's no per-seat fee, and every tier runs well under the cost of the hire it stands in for.

Every account starts with a free one-month trial on your own data. No card to begin.

How the bill works

How AI customer service pricing works.

1

What counts as a resolution

One conversation Celeste answers, however many questions or messages it holds. Ask five things at once, or go back and forth in the same thread, and it still counts once, billed when the reply is delivered, never per question. Go quiet for about a week and come back, and that fresh exchange is a new one.

2

What's included, and what's over

Each plan comes with one monthly batch of conversations that works across every channel: email, web chat, and SMS all draw from the same batch. Go past it and you pay your plan's flat rate. Turn on premium answers and each of those conversations adds a flat 10 cents, shown before you commit.

3

When the meter actually runs

Only when Celeste sends the reply unattended. Hand-offs to your team are free. Drafts that never send are free. Practice is free.

Can I try it first?

Yes. Every account starts with a free month.

Every workspace begins on a free one-month trial on your own data, with no card to start. Celeste learns from your history and drafts and practices in private, so you can watch how the agent handles your real conversations before anything reaches a customer. Without a card it can send up to 20 live chat replies; email replies need a card on file, to prevent email spam abuse. Adding a card does not charge you: you only pay if you choose a plan. Want to look before you sign up? Here are two more ways.

See the actual product

Log into a public demo workspace, already stocked with sample data, and look through everything an owner sees: the channels, the voice settings, the limits, the topic dials. It's the real admin, not a slideshow. Read-only, so the settings are there to inspect rather than change, and Test Celeste inside it is a live chat you can push on.

Questions

Common pricing questions, in plain words.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every workspace starts on a free one-month trial on your own data, with no card to begin. During the trial Celeste drafts and practices privately, and can send up to 20 live chat replies so you can watch it work with real visitors. Email replies need a card on file, to prevent email spam abuse. Adding a card does not charge you: you only pay if you choose a plan. Pick a plan any time to continue past the trial.

What exactly counts as one resolution?

One conversation Celeste answers, no matter how many questions are in it. Whether a customer asks five things in one message or goes back and forth in the same thread, it bills once, when Celeste delivers the answer. It is metered per conversation, never per question or per message.

What about a long live chat with a lot of questions?

A whole live chat session is at most one resolution, however many questions the visitor asks in it. And it bills only if Celeste actually resolved the chat: the visitor gave a thumbs up, or left on a real answer they never marked unhelpful with no teammate stepping in. A chat that ends without a real answer is free.

If the same customer comes back later, is that a new charge?

It depends on the gap. Follow-ups in the same exchange ride the conversation that was already billed, so a reply the next morning is free. If it goes quiet for about a week and they open a fresh exchange, that is a new conversation. So fifty questions in one chat is one resolution; coming back a week later with five more is a second.

What if I go over my included conversations?

You pay your plan's flat rate for the extras, and you can set a monthly spend cap so the bill never runs past a ceiling you choose.

Do web chat and SMS have their own meters?

No. One batch of conversations covers every channel. A conversation is one thread until it goes quiet for 7 days (web chat: 24 hours), whatever channel it arrives on. SMS plans also include a batch of text segments to cover carrier costs, with a small per-segment rate past it.

Do I pay when Celeste escalates to my team?

No. The only thing that costs money is a reply the agent sends unattended. If it goes to a person, it's free.

Do you charge per seat?

Never. Plans cap how many teammates you can add, but every one of them is free inside that cap.

Can I change plans later?

Any time, yourself. Upgrades kick in right away with the difference prorated. Downgrades start next cycle.

How do I keep the bill predictable?

Set a monthly spend cap. Celeste pauses new auto-replies before your bill crosses it, then picks back up next cycle. We never throttle you to protect our own margin.
